JPG to PDF under 200KB
Turn photos or phone scans into a single PDF that is just under 200 KB, ready for job applications, university portals and government forms.
How to make a PDF under 200 KB from photos
- Choose your JPG, PNG or WebP photos. Use the arrows to put the pages in order.
- The limit is already set to 200 KB. Change it if your form allows a different size.
- Press Create PDF and download the file.
How it works
The PDF is first made at full quality. If it is bigger than 200 KB, every photo is re-saved a little smaller and the tool searches for the sharpest level at which the whole PDF still fits. Nothing is uploaded: your photos are processed by your own browser.
How many pages fit in 200 KB?
200 KB is the most common limit on application portals. Two to four phone-scanned pages usually fit with readable text. Fewer pages always means sharper pages.
Example
A typical case: a university portal wants your transcript (three pages) as one PDF under 200 KB. Scan each page with your phone, choose all three here, check the order with the arrows and press Create PDF. The tool lowers the photo quality only as much as needed to fit all three pages.
Tips for 200 KB
- Put the pages in the right order before you press Create PDF: use the arrows next to each photo.
- Leave the page size on A4 unless the form says otherwise. It prints correctly and keeps text a normal size.
- For a CV made in Word, convert it with Word to PDF instead. A typed PDF is far smaller than a photo of it.
- Already have a PDF that is too big? Use Compress PDF to 200KB instead.

Questions
Is this the same as “image to PDF under 200 KB” or “photo to PDF less than 200 KB”?
Yes. JPG to PDF, image to PDF and photo to PDF all mean the same here, and under, below, less than and up to 200 KB all mean the PDF must be 200 KB or smaller.
What if the PDF can't get under 200 KB?
The tool shows the smallest size it could reach. Remove a page, crop the photos tighter or use a higher limit if your form allows it.
How many pages fit in a 200 KB PDF?
Usually two to four phone-scanned pages with readable text. Plain black text on white paper fits more pages than colourful documents.
Can I do this on my phone?
Yes. Open this page in your phone's browser, choose photos from your gallery and download the PDF. No app is needed.
